The doors have closed on the Alibi Photo Contest for 2010 and the judges will now deliberate.

This year 163 contestants submitted 259 eligible photos. You can browse through the entire collection on Flickr, or view them by category:

• ¡Que Albuquerque!—Anything that profiles or captures the spirit of Burque (tag: quealbuquerque)
• Things Are Not What They Seem—For manipulated or Photoshopped images (tag: thingsarenotwhattheyseem)
• People Are People—Human-focused photos (tag: peoplearepeople)
• Land Ho—Landscapes of the natural world, flowers, a plant, etc. (tag: landho)
• This Modern Life—Architecture, street scenes, the weird and wonderful world of the manmade (tag: thismodernlife)
• Miscellaneous and Animals—Exactly that (tag: miscellaneousandanimals)

Last time I looked, some of you contestants hadn’t tagged your entries. Although judging has already started, you can still get your entry into the right category by tagging it with one of the tags (in italics) listed above. How do you tag a picture? Here’s how.

We also got a lot of distraught calls and emails about people being unable to use Flickr to email us at our alibidotcom screen name. Well, that’s because Flickr is annoying and requires that you add us as a contact before you email us. And even that doesn’t seem to work all the time. No worries. If you win, we’ll hunt you down.

One other oddball thing: a handful of images never made the trip from Flickr to our Photo Contest micro-site. If yours is among the missing, please post a comment here with a link to the photo on Flickr and let us know so we can harvest it manually.

Was playing with my new Avenger F1000 suction cups today, didnt have anything else with me so the mirror is unfortunately blocking the way, but I think to be a good picture anyways
